The grid

Many markets on one screen, and the tree that decides which ones.

Switching views

The View toggle in the top bar switches between Ladder and Grid. The ladder is one market in depth; the grid is many markets at a glance, one row each, with the prices you can hit right there.

The tree on the left

The sidebar is the navigator: ALL EVENTS, with LIVE and Favorites above it. An *event* is Polymarket's own word for the thing being asked — a match, or a question — with its markets underneath. You can group by Date or by League.

The tree chooses what the ladder shows. It is a navigator, not a filter.

Two search boxes, two jobs

They look alike and do different things:

• The box in the top bar searches every market in the store to find one to open.
• The box inside the grid narrows the cards already on screen, and the league box next to it filters those.

If a search seems to return nothing, check which box you typed into.

Reading a row

Each row carries the market, the prices on both sides, and your own state in it. The columns available include volume (Vol), liquidity (Liq), your shares (Sh), cost (Cost), average price (Avg), and whether you have anything open. Which columns are shown is configurable.

Figures shown on the same row are always consistent with each other. Sizes can differ by a hair from what Polymarket's own page shows — that is rounding in the venue's model, not a disagreement.

Trading from the grid

The grid places orders the same way the ladder does: a click on a price is an order at that price. Hedge on the grid flattens the position — it closes you out at the current mark rather than adding to the position.

Live or not

The top bar says ● Live when the market data connection is up and ○ Offline when it is not. If it goes offline the terminal reconnects by itself; prices on screen are the last ones received until it does. Do not trade off a screen that says Offline.
